5th Wheel hitch head is mounted to the hitch body using a spherical bearing, allowing the head to move in all directions, rather than in only four directions like a standard 5th wheel hitch. The results of this additional movement are reduced noice and easier coupling. To ensure hassle-free coupling, the Q-Series hitch features an extra wide head opening and a coupling indicator that is visible from the inside of the truck cab.

The Companion OEM RAM model, designed to fit the RAM OEM hitch platform, installs and removes easily with its' two-piece design. Flatbed 5Th Wheel Hitch
The same coupler used on the Companion is used with the Companion™ Flatbed, but with a short base. It's designed to be used with steel flatbeds. See B&W's custom flatbeds.
The Companion Flatbed is rated at 22,000 lbs and is able to sit in a 20"x20" well, up to 4" deep. Free up your truck bed when you are not towing. The Companion Flatbed utilizes the B&W Turnoverball under-bed mounting system.
